Do you buy Christmas gifts for your Pet /s, Like pet Gift Baskets or Stockings?
Pets are like part of the Family to me, I`ve noticed that some stores sell pet gift baskets, and christmas stockings for pets, How many of you buy gifts for your pet, and would you present them with a stocking filled w/ pet goodies, or a gift basket for christmas?
Well, Who thinks thats a bit much?

My dog is part of the family too, however I’d probably consider buying him a healthy treat instead of a pre- filled stocking. Also, I think they value the time that you spend with them more than any fancy treats…
i do not. i feel that my dogs are a bit to umm, destructive to give them toys. but the scraps from christmas dinner, it’s all theirs!
On the holidays my show dog gets at least 1 present, all our pets get some special edible treat.
I buy my pets heaps. They always love new toys and they know it’s christmas when they get their stockings filled with food and toys. Trust me, pets luv toys…. you can neva go wrong. Good Luck :)
I totally give presents to my dog. I fix him a stocking every year. I fill it with treats like rawhide chewies, doggie biscuits and a new collar. However, i highly reccomend not wrapping presents, i did this one year i wrapped a rawhide chewy in pape and let him open it the next year he opened all the christmas presents!
During Christmas, i spend time with my cats… its the time of the year when I stay at home a lot….

I give my cats presents… they actually like the wrapping paper more often than the gift. ;)

I’d feel like a bad mother if I didn’t get my pets Christmas presents. I also wrap the cats’ stuff in tissue paper with ribbons so they can play and open the packages themselves….
I have a bunch of kitties and I buy one of the pet stocking’s for cats and just divide the stuff up between them. Cats have Christmas too. They miswell join us.
You said it yourself pets are part of the family and everyone in my family gets gifts at Christmas even the pets

I have a dog & 4 cats & I do buy them xmas presents, but I’ve never bought them a filled stocking.
We’ve always bought presents for our pets – toys or treats. Now that I have 5 cats, I do sometimes buy a pre-filled stocking, as they don’t care that there is just one for all of them – it’s full of toys and catnip. We used to have dogs that knew which boot was theirs (a plastic toy boot that could be filled). When you told them to “get your boot” they would dash to get it and bring it back for assistance in getting to their toys! Of course, the cats get just as much fun playing in the wrapping paper and with ribbons.
I have a stocking hung between mine & my husbands…..it’s for my cat. Christmas time is a good time to buy new toys, and helps to make sure they are not left out, on that day, when everyone is paying attention to the new items they’ve received.
Pets are part of the family, and they have feelings too. You are not going over board.
How bout grooming them up for the occassion? I bet its fun to see your petdog enjoying its christmas goodies in her santa costume. Remember to take a picture for memories sake.
every Christmas my cats get their Xmas stockings from the pet shop because they do deserve something like it for being my mates for the year..they already have their baskets to sleep in also really small electric blankets for winter plus lots of toys to play with
My mom buys my cat toys. They have a basket full of stuff. They go into the basket and pick which toy to play with. They have not learned how to put their toys away though.

I just get them each one gift . I have three dogs and I give them each a huge bone for each of them , and I have two cat’s, one a older cat. I give her cat treats, and I have a kitten , that’s going to be his first christmas,I’m going to give him some cat treats and a toy to play with. I’m also going to buy my boyfriend’s kitten a toy. I think they are in the famliy , so why not give them gifts.;
